THE SOCIAL NETWORK: This is more of a virtual place of exchanges and creation of links. It is above all not a meeting place but rather to respond to a request from our seniors who hardly experience their loneliness and lack of communication. It is also the place to draw inspiration for travel and activities. 

The YEARBOOK, for its part, is a tool which groups providers by categories and sub categories. The visitor will find in a few clicks the provider he is looking for in his region. This tool is complemented by thematic blogs and an agenda of activities proposed by service providers.

The BIG PLUS for the lenders that we hex is the APPLICATION FORM. Visitors can send a request directly to the service provider. In addition to the proven usefulness of this form, we note that out of 1000 requests addressed, two main axes appear.

The first concerns personal assistance: it is mainly a request for “senior service” from family and friends.   Often for the purpose of keeping the elderly parent at home as long as possible. Our services support them in this approach by providing solutions to the difficulties they may face: senior service, care and home help, service vouchers, transport service, care equipment and support to autonomy, home conversion, gardening… Up to administrative and computer support.

The second axis is for an audience of 50 years and over, waiting for entertainment: competitions, courses of different disciplines, outings, meetings, theatre, travel, sports, care, and many other areas.

The 54-64 age group accounts for the majority of traffic for these applications. They are interested in lifestyle, travel, cooking, respect for the environment, housing and health. Belgium has 11,300,000 inhabitants, and the 55+ represent a third of the population. This is how our mission responds to an obvious demand!

Our two platforms are interconnected, free and secure, connecting people to the services that interest them, from the age of 50, whether they are active or not.

Today, in our database, more than 15,000 people follow us. And more than 2000 are on the social network (www.senior.life), every day we count more and more registrants. Thanks to you, our network is growing every day. In the coming months, more and more features will be offered to make this place even more user-friendly. More and more influencers are joining us.
