What is this social network?

Senior.Life is a social network dedicated entirely to the 50+ online. It allows users to create a personal profile, connect with other users and share information such as messages, photos, videos and comments. Users can engage in social interactions, such as sending messages, creating publications and participating in discussion groups. The Senior.Life social network connects 50+ people based on shared interests.

As well as keeping up to date via blogs on interesting and targeted topics, reading columns and chatting with columnists, it's also a directory where seniors can access resources free of charge, find addresses of services (accommodation and facilities, care, support, holidays, entertainment, administrative and personal services, etc.), a diary of activities (conferences, shows, courses, etc.) and a number of competitions with prizes for this audience (theatre, books, outings, travel).

It's a one-stop shop for 50+!

This community is a bit different from those on other networks. It's secure, friendly and close to its users. There is real interaction with the staff, who listen to their users and move forward according to their needs.

The notion of community is important, and helps to forge links.

For seniors, being part of a community is beneficial, reducing anxiety and depression.

It helps them to overcome social isolation, particularly if they are widowed or isolated by mobility problems or other factors. This community allows them to meet other people and build relationships. The activities and exchanges help to stimulate the mind and creativity, offering the chance to be inspired by others and shared passions. Readings, poems, haikus, photos, works of art, music, animals... Seniors welcome each other through their passions.

Increasingly, these interactions are leading to suggestions for outings, which in turn encourage physical activity. Physical activities can also be offered by our sports and other partners.

Belonging to a community can also help seniors to boost their self-confidence. By sharing their experiences, they feel less alone in going through this stage of their lives, and the questions that go with it. They share their daily lives and help each other. It also develops a sense of belonging, a fundamental human need: to be connected and to belong to a network, a community, a family.

This social network improves quality of life because it allows us to have fun and enjoy ourselves together. Join us and invite your friends!
